Holly Barefoot Social Science
I grew up in Greensboro and graduated from Smith High School in 1975. I earned by BA in History from UNC-Greensboro and my masters in History and Secondary Education from A & T State University. I have been engaged in some form of teaching Social Studies since 1979 and this is my sixth year at Weaver Academy. Teaching, reading and learning about History is my favorite pastime. I have a passion for teaching the next generation about the history and fundamental principles of our nation. In addition to studying and teaching history I enjoy traveling, scrapbooking and playing tennis. Most of all, I like to spend time with my husband and four children. At Weaver I am the faculty advisor to FCA (Fellowship of Christian Artists) and Weaver Conservative Society. |
