Mitzi Graves Counselor
I have worked as a school counselor for 15 years, four at Weaver Academy and 11 at Asheboro High School. I completed both my four-year degree in Secondary English Education and my Masters in School Counseling at Appalachian State University. I earned my national boards through NBPTS in 2004 and have also been nationally certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors since 1994. As a counselor, I assist students with personal, social, career, college, and scheduling issues. I also coordinate Weaver Academy’s scholarship program, serve as SAT Champion, sponsor the Weaver Ambassadors, and serve on a number of committees. Dr. Gene Harris Counselor Graduated 1968 B.S. University of Idaho English and Psychology Graduated 1972 M/Ed University of Idaho Counseling Graduated 1993 Ph.D. University of Tulsa Industrial/Organizational Psychology Married 41 years with four children scattered from Ithaca, NY to Minneapolis, MN to Fort Worth TX, to Berlin, Germany. I am just finishing my fifteenth year in Guilford County Schools, and the fifth year at Weaver. |
