My experience in the automotive service field spans approximately 25 years. My interest was sparked in my teens when the kids with license in my neighborhood were working on their Chevelles and Mustangs in their driveways. I was always right there with them watching every move they made. In High School I took two years of, what was then called, Auto Mechanics. After graduating High School I enrolled and graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN. Upon returning home from college I took a job at a service station pumping gas. I knew pumping gas wasn’t what I wanted to do. I quit that job after a month and went to work at a local Chevy dealership and worked there for 25 years. While there I was able to experience every portion of an automotive service department ranging from changing oil, being a technician apprentice, technician, shop foreman and manager. After thinking about it for a couple of years, I decided I’d like to teach others what I’ve learned……… here I am.
