Weaver Home Page

As a native of Greensboro, I am a graduate of Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and Queens College in Charlotte.  I have been a registered nurse since 1973 and have worked in the medical fields of Pediatrics, Neonatology, Endocrinology, Oncology, Hospice, Home Health and was the Director of Oncology Administration at Moses Cone Hospital where I conducted research on cancer patients for 10 years prior to the beginning of my teaching career.  I earned my teaching certificate from NC State University and have presently been teaching for 6 years at Weaver. I presently serve on the leadership team, crisis team and I am the department chair for the medical department.  I have two children and 2 grandchildren.
